Android Ice Cream Sandwich update out for Xperia

Software rollout started for Xperia U, Xperia Solo and Xperia go. 

It will be available with new media applications including an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich , it will take few weeks to make it available globally.

Some of the features available in xperia update:

An upgrade version is always better than the previous one , because the upgraded version is a fix and improved version with all known bugs till the date are fixed. so we will suggest you to have a upgraded version for better performance.

Here is a list of some new Features and Functions you will get:

1> Data Consumption control for Mobile is improved.

2> Improved personalization with Re-sizable widgets.

3> Improved functions for Lock screen.

4> Increased standby time by up to four times (depending on user-profile and data consumption), Extended standby mode.

5> New ways to experience your tunes, images, videos and films with Sony’s media applications – “WALKMAN”, “Album” and “Movies”.

6> For a clear overview of your applications a recent Apps button is given.

“Glove Mode” a new feature is available in the upgrade version for Xperia sola is available . This feature is basically design for the winter season’s where you can now acess your mobile “floating touch” screen while wearing gloves.

The rollouts are out now . with in next few weeks you will be able to see released kits for the above software.
